Meet John Plumley, DMD
Dr. John Plumley’s education & experience took him all across the country. Born & raised in Tampa Bay, he is a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University in Boston, MA. Upon receiving his DMD, Dr. Plumley served as a U.S. Navy dentist at the Naval Health Clinic Hawaii at Pearl Harbor. While stationed on Oahu supporting the U.S. Pacific Fleet, he received advanced dental training under multiple specialists. During this time, Dr. Plumley earned the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal while also moonlighting at some of the most forward-thinking & innovative dental practices in Honolulu.
With a decade of experience, he has completed extensive continuing education courses in anesthesia & pain control, cosmetic dentistry, esthetics & implants. As a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Plumley has achieved the prestigious status of Fellow, while also maintaining membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association & West Coast District Dental Association.
From completing his training on the east coast in New England to practicing out west in the central Pacific, Dr. Plumley has learned to combine different philosophies & techniques to deliver the best treatment outcomes for his patients. He couldn’t be more thrilled to be back in Florida to continue this standard for the Bradenton community. His vision of offering a dental experience that is not only personalized but also convenient with extended evening & weekend hours has become a reality.
Dr. Plumley has made it a priority to support his local communities. Whether it is providing free dental care at the annual Kokua Smiles events during his time in Hawaii or at Dentistry From the Heart here in Florida, Dr. Plumley continues to give back. As a volunteer at Bradenton’s Turning Points, part of the Community Coalition on Homelessness, he is able to use his experience in the U.S. Navy to stay connected to military veterans & provide dental services for those in need of access to dental care.
Meet Rohan Madhyani, DMD
Dr. Rohan Madhyani is a Florida native, born & raised in Orlando. His dental education took him to Cleveland, Ohio, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. He then received advanced dental training under highly regarded specialists at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Here, he became confident with treating patients who require implants, extractions, bone grafting & have complicated medical needs.
Dr. Madhyani aims to deliver the best possible treatment to his patients. With his ongoing extensive training, he combines his knowledge with experience to continually deliver excellent dental care.
Known for his gentle touch & lighthearted nature, Dr. Madhyani enjoys developing a rapport with his patients. Patients feel valued under his care.
After many years away from Florida, Dr. Madhyani is excited to be back in the sunshine state. Outside of the dental office, he enjoys playing basketball, being on the water & exploring new restaurants with his wife & friends. Dr. Madhyani also loves to play with his newly adopted golden doodle.

Meet Natalie Platt, DMD
Dr. Natalie Platt was born and raised in Miami, FL. From a young age, she knew she wanted to become a dentist. She applied and got accepted into Nova Southeastern University’s Dual Admission Program prior to graduating high school. This allowed her to earn her bachelor’s degree a year early and reserved a seat for her at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2012.
Over the last 10+ years, Dr. Platt has continuously focused on delivering excellent and compassionate patient care while devoting time and effort into learning the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry and smile restoration. She values listening to her patients and their concerns as well as building a partnership with her patients to address their needs and achieve their goals. For this reason, Dr. Platt’s patients cherish their relationship with their dentist and remark that they “finally look forward to dental appointments” after experiencing dental anxiety with previous providers. Dr. Platt believes everyone should be able to feel confident about both their oral health and their smiles.
Dr. Platt’s professional memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast District Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Platt spends her time with her husband and daughter enjoying and exploring all the beauty that our beaches and parks have to offer. She enjoys eating along the water, reading, showing her daughter the world (of Disney), and traveling. Married to a Marine Corps veteran who served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Dr. Platt has volunteered extensively to assist our veteran community through partnering with the Marine Corps League, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion (among others).
Dr. Platt is fully fluent in both Spanish and English and is excited to bring her years of experience to the South Bradenton Dental Care & Your Weekend Dentists™ team and our family of patients.
Meet Sean Pierel, DMD
Dr. Sean Pierel is originally from Rhode Island and brings a wide range of experiences to every chairside encounter he shares with his patients. He earned two undergraduate degrees from the University of Rhode Island and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of New England in Portland, ME. With a background emphasizing dental care for public health and advanced medical needs, Dr. Pierel is excited to provide high-quality personalized dental care to the Bradenton community.
Dr. Pierel is an active member in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Phi Beta Kappa ΦΒΚ Honor Society. He is eager to expand this network with continued education in the latest technologies such as digital dentistry, advancements in implantology, and cosmetic restorative solutions. Prioritizing these advanced clinical practices with tailored treatment to every person’s individual needs is one of Dr. Pierel’s favorite aspects of dentistry and he hopes to join you on your oral health journey.
Dr. Pierel continues to give back to the community through volunteer work with various Pride organizations and with dental public health initiatives such as the Mission of Mercy and Give Kids A Smile. He has made it his mission of delivering dentistry in a way that promotes holistic health to patients with diverse backgrounds and medical needs. His vision is to enrich quality of life and restore confident smiles with a ‘patient first’ philosophy to comprehensive care, all while maintaining core values in compassion, integrity, innovation, diversity, and community.
